Government won’t be distracted from bold reforming agenda, says Prime Minister
The government was moving firmly forward with its reforming agenda, His Excellency Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon said today, condemning an attack against a restaurant in Mogadishu which was reported to have killed one and wounded at least seven.
“My first duty is to send my sincere condolences to the families of those injured in the attack. My second is to assure Somalis that this attack will not make the slightest difference to our commitment to consolidate the dramatic improvements we have made since ejecting terrorists from Mogadishu. Somalis know that foreign agenda has no place here, which is why the enemies of peace have been comprehensively rejected.”
