HARGEISA— Marodi Jeh provincial court on Tuesday has passed verdict against Pakistani businessman of breaking immigration laws and spreading Shiite doctrine in Somaliland in a bid to create religion divide among Sunni predominant community.Mr. Mohamed Reza Hussein, 63 years old Pakistani national has been sentenced to 1 year jail sentence, harsh fine and faces deportations.
Marodi Jeh regional court magistrate Mr. Abdirisak Beergel has presided the court’s hearing today.
The associate of the Pakistani businessman received a fine of 3, 000, 000 SL Shillings and will be deported from Somaliland within a matter of 2 months.
