Somali American Intellectual Council along with Jubbland Diaspora in North America strongly condemn yesterday’s cowardly suicide car bomb attack on the Jubba delegation led by President H.E. Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Madobe) in the southern port city of Kismayo. We send our deepest condolences to the people of Jubba and the families of those killed in this wicked and heinous attack. We stand strong with our people of Jubba and pray for those injured in the attack to get swift recovery.
Minneapolis Celebratory Event Cancellation
In respect to the incident and the mourning period required when such relentless attack occurs, we decided to cancel a celebratory event planned for this Saturday in Minneapolis to commemorate the recent Addis Abba treaty and the progress of the Jubba Administration. Event will be rescheduled and date furnished later.
