Hargeisa, June 15, 2013 (SDN) -The late Ahmed Ibrahim Dahir (Ahmed Wayne) has been laid to rest in Hargeisa. The president H.E Ahmed Mahmud Silanyo was among thousands of mourners who attended the state burial of Somaliland Member of Parliament late Ahmed Ibrahim Dahir (Ahmed Wayne) at the Heedho cemetery. The burial of late Ahmed Wayne also saw leaders from various political parties, government officials, legislators from the two chambers of parliament as well as traditional and religious leaders in attendance. The deceased Parliamentarian who who was a member of Somaliland’s House of Representatives since 2005 passed away in Hargeisa last night. While addressing the mourners at the graveside the head of state who termed the late Ahmed Wayne as one of the SNM leaders who played an important part in the liberation of the country also condoled the family as he beseeched Allah for succour to the soul of the departed. Numerous speakers among them the leaders of the two chambers of parliament and political leaders extended similar sentiments on the public performance of the late Ahmed Wayne.
