A roadside explosion killed three Somali government officials on Monday in Afgooye, about 30 km southwest of capital Mogadishu.

Lower Shabelle Governor Abdulkadir Mohamed Nor Sidi told Xinhua by phone that the three– a district commissioner, his secretary and guard were killed while heading to the Afgoye town.
