Hargeisa (SDN) -The leader of the UCID party Engineer Faysal Ali Waraabe has returned to Somaliland after an extended trip abroad. He received a warm welcome from supporters this morning at the Egal International Airport.
The chairman spoke to journalists at the airport where he discussed his recent trips to various countries in Europe. The negotiations proposed by the international community between Somaliland and Somalia were among the discussions that took place on his journey.
When reporters asked if his quietness in the face of opposition party elections may be the result of similar political ideologies between the ruling party and UCID the chairman responded by denying any similarity in ideologies. He went on to say that President Siilaanyo’s administration has diminished support from citizens and the nation’s condition is faring poorly.
