Buroa, 20 Nov 2013 (SDN) -One person was killed and three others were injured when a vehicle hit a landmine at Buroa, the capital of Togdher region on Tuesday night. Buroa’s central police station Chief Ahmedwali Abdilahi Ganey who is the owner of the vehicle has said while speaking to hadhwanaagnews that a family was on way to home from a wedding ceremony when their vehicle hit a landmine in Hodan Qaylo village nearby Abdi Nuor School, killing a woman onboard, and injuring three others.
Togdher police bomb disposal squad reached the site of blast and cordoned off the area as a probe into the incident went underway.
This is the second landmine explosion in Burco this month. Earlier this month a similar landmine blast in Buroa killed the driver of a vehicle owned by Bader Electricity Company.
