Boorama 21.Jan 2014 (SDN)- The regional health ministry, with collaboration of some UN agencies such as WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA have launched an essential healthy service packages program in Awdal and Salel region districts today.
The major aim of this healthy program is to develop and maintain the healthy services towards mother and child care centers of the local districts. And it will last for two days
On the occasion held at Ray Hotel , the director of especial package of health services program Mr. Cali Sheikh has made an open statement he and he pointed out that this program is vital for the healthy service development of the Somaliland and he thanked the collaborating Un agencies and Healthy ministry of Somaliland.
The regional healthy Officer, Dr. Abdirahman Djamac Hadi also explained the implementation of the project .’We are very privilege for conducting this health program we have the capacity to curry out this service as long as UN agencies are supporting in addition to that we have new graduate health workers and midwifery lately who possess needed skills and knowledge. He Said
The Mayor Of Borama town and Governor of Awdal Region also express their concern towards issues and both highlighted importance of healthy package for local citizens
Awli Haji Ali and Asiya Osman who were UN representatives have made their speech on the ceremony where they both praised healthy activites in the Awdal region
And they promise maintain their support and collaboration of the program .
All in all This project has been implemented Sahil and Togdheer regions respectively and now it is began in Awdal and Salal.
