Diplomat is a person appointed by country to another country or international organization. The main functions of diplomats revolve around the representation and protection of the interests and nationals of the sending state, as well as the promotion of information and friendly relations. Diplomats are the oldest form of any of the foreign policy institutions of the state, predating by centuries for foreign minister. Diplomats usually characterize being of ethical behaviour personality.

A Minister of Foreign Affairs, or foreign minister, is a cabinet minster who helps forming the foreign policy of a sovereign state. Foreign minister exert significant influence in forming foreign policy to playing a more marginal or subsidiary role in determining policy. Along with their political roles, foreign ministers are also traditionally responsible for many diplomatic duties, such as hosting foreign world leaders and going on state visits to other countries. The foreign minister is generally the well-travelled member of any cabinet.
Ethics, also known as philosophical ethics, ethical theory, moral theory, and moral philosophy, is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct and addressing disputes of moral diversity. Ethics is from Greek word which means character.
Ethical issues are problems which require a person or organization to choose between alternatives that must be evaluated as ethical (right) or unethical (wrong). In short, they are questions concerning what is moral or right. They are mostly prevalent in business. An ethical issue is a problem or situation that requires a person or organisation to choose between alternatives that must be evaluated as right or wrong. The choice that is right is said to be ethical while the wrong one unethical. Moral issue is a philosophy that seeks to address questions morality.
Ethical issues are ideas and rules that deal with morality. They define how we are expected to live with other people for the good of all people and also for the benefit and sustainability of nature. Such issues deal with criminality, social responsibility and good will. The dictionary defines ethical issues as: the study of standards of conduct and moral judgment; moral philosophy, a treatise on this study or the system or code of morals of a particular person, religion, group or profession. Commenting my current issue, which I would to comment about is, I have noticed a couple of political statements from our foreign minister, Mohamed Younis Bixi, which carries signs of undiplomatic tone. A much noticed example is his latest press statement in Hargeisa about his trip to United Arab Emirates.
Instead the minster speaking a diplomatic language, he used street language tone, which downgraded his image as Foreign minister. He was spoken such words like thieves. He characterised himself being of competent personality. In the front of the television screens, he accused friendly country (UAE) of not worth trusting them. The minster damaged our relationship with friendly countries that provided us assistance that cannot estimated in terms of value. Secondly, UAE is hosting thousands of Somalis from all parts of Somaliland and Somalia. Thirdly, we have commercial ties over decades which produces more than the interest of his failted to UAE. Taken this into consideration,, this minister should have taken into consideration our existing relationship and the future relationship with UAE and not focusing only his current trip to UAE, which result failure. It appears that, the minister owns supper power, which he can exercise to anyone including a friendly country like UAE, which in reality non existant. In conclusion, it appears the minster know little about diplomacy. I am not aware his performance when he was working the humanitarian assistances in Sudan –Darfoor.
