Supremacism is the belief that a particular clan, race, species, ethnic group, religion, gender, class, belief system or culture is superior to others and entitles those who identify with it to dominate, control or rule those who do not.Economic inequality (also described as the gap between rich and poor, income inequality, wealth disparity, or wealth and income differences) is the difference between individuals or populations in the distribution of their assets, wealth, or income. T
he term typically refers to inequality among individuals and groups within a society, but can also refer to inequality among countries. The issue of economic inequality involves equity, equality of outcome, equality of opportunity, and life expectancy.
Economic inequality varies between societies, historical periods, economic structures and systems (for example, capitalism or socialism), and between individuals’ abilities to create wealth. The term can refer to cross sectional descriptions of the income or wealth at any particular period and to the lifetime income and wealth over longer periods of time.
Commenting about the issue of my concern, Somali-land key government positions are reserved over long time only a particular clan of the society and that generates in inequalities between societies.
We are wondering why Somali-land military general are kept reserved for only one clan, why the finance minster reserved for only one clan, why the post of Hargeisa water agency reserved for only clan, why the TV manager is kept reserved only for certain clans.
This policy is not adapted anywhere in the world. I would like the public to debate this supremacy issue as this may lead eliminating this dishonorable practice.
Ismail lugweyne.
